My garden is my haven, my happy place. The only thing I love more than gardening is sharing it with other people.
We had found and bought a dilapidated house to raise our young family in Beach Haven, Auckland. When we saw the house and its surrounding site, we couldn't walk away. I was more excited about the potential garden than the house! It suited our needs perfectly. There's a lot of hard work here and no budget to do it, that got spent on the reno. I think most young couples starting a family are in exactly that situation. The aim of this blog is to share our experiences in creating a no spray, self regulating and ecologically friendly garden out of nothing with nothing in the middle of suburbia.
